Vermont Teachers begin the National Board Certification Process

Nineteen Vermont Teachers are on their way to be NBCTs and are part of a SNHU class created by Vermont-NEA.  Juliette Longchamp, Director of Professional Programs at Vermont-NEA, Kate McCann from U-32 and Ian Bleakney from Edmunds Middle School are facilitating four cohorts.  Congratulations to Eileen Sears, Lisa Maggio, Martha Santa Maria, Jennifer Larocque, Kelly Bouteiller, Lili Foster, Alison McNamara, Kelly Robinson, Katy Chabot, Venus Dean, Rebekah Mortensen, Nathan Caswell, Anah Gagnon, Dodi Gomez, Imony Norris, Josepha Austin, JP Gagnon, Sarah Wright, and Sarah Case for their participation in the cohort.  If there are others interested in joining a cohort, it is not too late.  Contact Julie Longchamp for more details.

Congratulations to Laura King and Laura Michaelides for their successful renewal of their National Board Certification.  NBCTs need to renew every 10 years, which includes creating a Profile of Professional Growth since certification.
