Vermont-NEA believes that our members will best serve their students when their health (mental, physical, emotional) is strong.  Based on NEA's reserch, the most common physical heath and wellness issues affecting NEA members and the students they serve are obesity, hunger, chornic disease, infectious disease and sexual and reproductive health.

The NEA Health Information Network has many resources for members and their students.

The Hunger-Free Vermont Universal School Meals Video sets the context of the importance of nutritious meals and education in our schools.
